Henry Paulson was US Secretary of the Treasury between 2006 and 2009, and is the primary Architect of the rescue package for the US banking system, often referred to as the Paulson plan.  Now he is a Senior Fellow at the University of Chicago, passing on the lessons of the crisis to future policy makers. He donates huge sums to the Nature Conservancy. He also initiated, then led, the US-China Economic dialogue, so fitting up for a suit at Sam's in Hong Kong comes as a natural part of what he does.
